The Fairlawn Inn was the perfect bed and breakfast for our little weekend excursion. The building was charming, and the gardens were beautiful and well kept. The outdoor fire pit was a nice way to end our night, and the freshly cooked breakfast in the morning was delicious. We stayed in the Glenwood room and we loved the jacuzzi tub in the bathroom! Chuck and his staff were very friendly and did a wonderful job. We will definitely be visiting again!

Fantastic accommodating hosts, beautiful rooms and garden. If there was anything to do within walking distance, I'd give it 5 stars.
Outstanding place to stay. Everything was perfect. The owner made sure of it and the place is gorgeous. We went to Vesuvio's for dinner per his recommendation which was also outstanding. Afterwards we came back to a fire in the courtyard and sat outside with tea and coffee. He whipped up a gourmet breakfast the next morning to top it off. What a perfect weekend.
The Fairlawn is a beautiful place to stay. We spent one night and wish we had spent two. The grounds and garden is fabulous. And breakfast was a gourmet delight.
Amazing experience! We stayed in the Gazebo Room, which has a breathtaking view of Hunter Mountain, a cozy bed with luxe sheeting, and a vintage claw foot tub-- perfect for soaking sore muscles after a day of skiing. Chuck made us creative, delicious vegan breakfasts and a delightful key lime pie. Exceeded my expectations in every way. Will definitely be returning here on my next trip up to Hunter :)
